Write it down.
Fits today.
Dump every to-do in plain words. Fits Today estimates it, ranks it, and places it around your job and your life. Add something urgent and the rest of the week makes room.
Say it how you'd say it
“Finish onboarding by Friday, about 3h” becomes a task with a list, an estimate and a deadline.
It finds the time
Every task lands in a real slot around your day job. Something urgent comes in, the rest makes room.
It keeps you honest
An evening review looks at what slipped and proposes changes. Nothing moves until you accept.
A simple todo app that puts the work on the clock.
A lot of task managers store the title and leave the clock to you. Fits Today is a todo app for the other half of the job. You write the task the way you would say it. The app gives it a list, an estimate, a priority, and a deadline when those are in the sentence, then places it in open time around your day job.
The default week already treats weekday 8 to 5 as busy. Tasks land in the hours you marked as available, on a 21-day horizon you can change. Today shows the timeline, an Up next list, and anything that will miss a deadline. The week shows the blocks, the hatched busy time, and the work at risk. The backlog holds the rest, grouped into lists.
Task management that can move
Priorities run from ASAP down to low. A deadline pulls a task forward as the date gets close. Add something urgent and the flexible tasks shift. Pin a task when it must stay. If the work can be split, it fills shorter gaps instead of waiting for one long empty block.
A review before anything changes
Plan my day can rank what matters today and explain the order. A big task can be broken into steps that schedule in sequence. At the end of the day, and again at the end of the week, a review proposes edits. You accept them. The list does not rewrite itself.

Questions people ask first.
How capture, scheduling, and the review work before you add your first task.
What kind of todo app is Fits Today?
It is a personal task manager. You add tasks in plain words. Fits Today estimates them, ranks them, and schedules them into free time around busy blocks such as a day job.
How do I add a task?
Press the + at the bottom right, or N, slash, or Command-K. A line like "finish onboarding by Friday, about 3h" becomes a task with a list, an estimate, a priority, and a deadline. You can drop a photo of a written list on the same field, or use the microphone there to chat instead.
What happens when something urgent comes in?
Flexible tasks move to make room. Pinned tasks stay put. If a task can be split, it can fill smaller gaps instead of waiting for one long opening.
Does the review change my list by itself?
No. The evening review and the weekly review look at what got done, what slipped, and what is at risk. They propose changes. Nothing moves until you accept. A delete asks again.
Can I see the whole week?
The week view shows scheduled blocks, hatched busy time, events, and flags for work that is at risk. Today shows a timeline, an Up next list, and a Needs attention panel for tasks that will miss a deadline.
Is this a calendar?
It keeps a schedule, and the thing you manage is the task list. Meetings and a day job are busy time. Tasks land in what is left.
